I only know of you through Meli's beautiful write up. I too am an advocate for Bully Breeds and am in dog rescue. It is a delight to hear that people just like you, have helped these poor souls who so badly need it. Im sorry I had never met you before you passed on...but you have a wonderful friend who is continuing to help these dogs..as you too once did. My condolences to all his friends and family. Happy Birthday up there! Everyone meets at the Rainbow Bridge someday. -JC
Through all the sadness we feel when reading about Jerry we need to remember what amazing acts he did and lives he touched all around. I didnt know him and am in tears reading about this life that has left us. He will be a guardian angel to close ones and never loose that connection. Thank you for sharing this with everyone, and I really feel for the ones who knew Jerry, take care all of you.

Happy Birthday Jeremy! I did not know you but I am a very fortunate person to be an adoptive parent of one of the pit bulls that you spent your life saving! You touched our lives in a very special way. For that, I am forever grateful to you and your legacy. Rest in peace, my great friend!
Wish I was close enough to join the Jan. 15 celebration of a life lived well. My love to Lee and Mrs. Prete - forever extended family and it has been too long.
